And please be with the pygmies in New Guinea.
5 Brownie points to whoever can figure out which comedian that line comes from.
Anywho, I know some of you are ready to strangle me for promising posts and not following through. I hate myself for it, too.
But please don't throw any stones just yet.
It's not really an excuse, but I just started working for my parents (not recommended, btw), and it has consumed my life, as I am unable to drive yet and I have to wait for them to leave in order to get home. They normally do not leave work until 9 o'clock. By which time I'm so fed up with them that I go directly to my room. Thus, no posts.
I don't have time today, but I'm not doing anything tomorrow (because the rear tire on my bike popped, long story), so I promise at least one post, or I'll let you dress me in flannel.
FLANNEL.
That's how serious I am.

What's To Come!
As much as I'd like to be able to sit here and rant and rave and babble (and trust me, if babbling was an Olympic sport...), but I've got a life to lead: chores, friends, family, and soon, a job. This weekend I plan on sitting myself down and writing a piece or two, but for now, here's a brief list of some subject to come:
- The California Supreme Court's Decision to Uphold Prop 8
- Should We Take the Fight Against Prop 8 to the Federal Level?
- Christianity vs. Homosexuality/Christianity + Homosexuality
- Coming Out
- Fag Hags: Stereotypes in the Gay Community
- The Miss California Controversy

A Brief Overview of RNO
I am not a stereotypical gay teenager. For example, I will not be writing about what Miley Cyrus wore yesterday, though I might take some time to bash her for trying (and failing) to sing. I refuse to indulge in celebrity gossip: I'd much prefer to discuss the President's latest actions. I won't simply blast homophobes and fundamentalist Christians "ThEiR sOoOoOoOo StUpId", but probably calmly explain my reasons for finding their beliefs ridiculous, medieval, and fanatical. I might discuss the actions of a celebrity, but only to support or criticize their political statements and/or moves. I will definitely spend time ranting about my life (i.e. the discrimination, adversity, and general crap that I encounter), but that's only when I feel the need to channel my anger.
Essentially, I am a politically aware, literate teenager, bent on putting my opinion out there whether you like it or not. Life's a B, isn't it?
